Faithless Nomad

The Faithless Nomad (also known as the Khayin) was the nomad who betrayed and killed the Last Caliph.[1] Many Pharazians believe that the Herald of Night is actually the Faithless Nomad, who is being punished by the Lawgiver for his crimes.[2]
