Dur-Anea is very literally a Floating Pocket domain, for it appears to be a two mile islet that sails quickly through Ravenloft's dimmest and most remote seas. An ancient Bronze Age type temple sits atop it. In actually, the island is an immense, immortal sea turtle, enslaved by the will of its master Narmu-Shurpak. It can do no independent action save for telepathically call for help, despite its only desire being to die.[3]
