Doom of the Óndskapur

In this dread possibility, Lars Viggsen and his crew did not meet their doom immediately upon crashing into the iceberg near Todstein. Instead, the harshness of the weather and terrain convinced his crew to abandon the ship, but Larrs' obsession prevented him from doing the same. They eventually mutinied and threw him into the freezing sea. However, they soon found themselves trapped as their escape boats had been sabotaged. Now the crew live on as wraiths in the ship, and Larrs lives on as a spectre determined to conceal his crimes.
