Cyrilla Deschamps was a member of the Vistani and a correspondent of Dr. van Richten. Van Richten describes her as a "sage" and "wise woman".[1]
Cyrilla's niece Vassa met a gruesome fate. After rejecting an obsessed suitor, Cyrilla was kidnapped and ultimately murdered to be incorporated into the dread golem Katya. Upon encountering Katya, Cyrilla found she did not have the power to destroy her.[2]
Cyrilla once became infected with lycanthropy and was outcast from her tribe even after being cured. Although Dr. Van Richten was able to arrange a place to stay for her, he was not able to keep her from suffering static burn and becoming one of the mortu.[3]
