Cu Clannagh arose as a lumber town, taking advantage of the surrounding forest and the nearby River Dorlach for transportation of felled timber. The demand for lumber in Touraine has helped Cu Clannagh prosper despite its destruction by Banemaw in 718 BC.[2]
Cu Clannagh is also renowned for its hunting dogs, which possess an excellent sense of smell. While they cannot actually sniff out evil, despite rumors to the contrary, they can be trained to discern lycanthropes and to detect invisible or camouflaged creatures. They are extremely valuable, yet the Cu Clannaghans refuse to sell to anyone outside of Nidala.[2]
Charlotte Lawlor is the mayor of Cu Clannagh.[3]
