Credimori

Credimori is the incarnation of intolerance towards, and hatred of, the other. His antithesis are the notions of equality, fraternity, and solidarity . . . or simple kindness. He is a corruptor and a manipulator with a special disdain for the Vistani. Indeed, the name "Credimori" comes from the Vistani language and has a meaning roughly analogous to "creator of fears".

Credimori arrived into Ravenloft via transposition with Roland of Tepest, an especially fanatical inquisitor (later turned heretic).

Activity in Greendale

Credimori is slowly corrupting Greendale under the guise of the false prophet Roland Shadowsbane. He is opposed by Alan Lumieres

Phylactery

Credimori's phylactery is a portrait of two men smiling, with one of them smiling due to the other's knife behind his back. Credimori doesn't seem to recognize the full extent of its link to him.

Reality Wrinkle

A very subtle touch of the sinister in all things: the overbearing architecture; the overlong shadows, the enfeebled light of the sun. Everything is not quite right in some barely perceptible away.
