Contessa Sabrinda was the mistress of Baron Caidin. Though his favored lover, she was merely getting on his good side to suggest the value true lover[1], Sir Beacham, for gaining a fiefdom. However, her plans never came to fruition. She was killed by the Spirits of the Bell of Doom, called by Wort.[2] At the end of Tower of Doom, the Bell's destruction caused the Contessa and the rest of the people killed by the Bell's ghosts to reanimate as zombies and seek revenge against Wort, tearing him apart as as they all went plunging over Morrged's Leap in Caidin's Tower of Doom[3]
