Claudette Lockwood and her husband Garland Lockwood are both part of the Lockwood Family ghosts that linger on as inhabitants of the Lockwood Manor. In life, Claudette and Garland lived in a unhappy, broken marriage constantly in turmoil with each other. Claudette grew ever more paranoid about her husband's (nonexistent) infidelity until she set up a meeting for Garland with their maid Jennette that would prove her suspicions. When they finally were "proved" she took up a knife and went at Jennette, but Garland deflected it. Angelique Lockwood used their distraction to run them both through with a single swipe, killing them both and reanimating them as ghosts. From then on they've become absolved to destroy each other, but they are cursed to be unable to.[1]
