Claire Penhallow is a minor character from Heaven's Bones. Born frail and lame, Claire was thought to have been cursed by her outcast brother Dirk Penhallow. In truth, this was not the case, for Dirk actually loved her.[1] Because she was one of Jaelle's Breed and thus a danger, Trueblood murdered her, thus destroying any chance of persuading Dirk to join his side.[2]
