Category talk:Locations in the Village of Barovia

Strahd's Fog is actually around (sometimes) the village and a much wider area as well. Granted, a minor point. But it does beg the question of whether the category should be Locations about the Villlage of Baroiva and the same with all other communities. A stucture outsider of town is not in a given town even if it thematically belongs to that town. Whereas 'in' works fine for domains.Cure 17:41, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

I concede that point, but are there truly well-defined "Community borders" in the Ravenloft or other medieval-ish worlds? I don't think Mordentshire and Blackburn's Crossing would establish "city limits" between each other. Since towns spring up somewhat organically in this time period, I think "outside of town" is probably safe to consider as close enough to "in town." Locations in ___ seems easier to type/remember/parse than any alternative I can think of. -- Gonzoron 15:38, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
