The Wishing Imp is a malevolent, intelligent artifact, appearing as a cherubic imp carved from black stone. It can grant its owner a wish once per day, but always twists them to have unintended consequences. The Imp can only be given away if the new owner is informed of exactly what it is, otherwise it magically returns to the prior owner. It can communicate telepathically to its owner and encourages him or her to keep making wishes. It can animate if attacked, but cannot leave the demiplane of dread by any means.
