The Vhorishkovas were a family of werewolves that resided in Arkandale (and later Verbrek, after Arkandale was absorbed in the Grand Conjunction.) They were a secretive and cautious bunch of recluses that dwelt upon the fringes of society, carefully killing in secret away from the center of civilization. An exception was the audacious Natalia Vhorishkova, whom openly and wantonly killed. She eschewed Arkandale and her family for more civilized lands.^[1] However, Natalia's depredations eventually brought doom upon the clan. They were all massacred by George Weathermay in 741 BC in retaliation for Natalia Vhorishkova's betrayal and assault of Gennifer Weathermay-Foxgrove. Ironically, Natalia herself was the only one to escape him.^[2][3]
