An utburd^[1] is the vengeful spirit of an infant abandoned to the wilderness. It is usually invisible, and it remains incorporeal until it can drain a sufficient amount of strength for it to assume a corporeal form. The creature torments and harasses those from its family or tribe, wanting to prolong their lives in order to prolong their torments. However, it does not show the same reserve for the life of foreigners.
