Smaller relatives of the manta ray at 3 ft. diameter and weighing 25 pounds, stingrays normally present a threat to humanoids when provoked or stepped on while hiding in wait for lobsters and other minuscule crustaceans. A stingray's poisonous tail inflicts nausea and dexterity ability damage.^[1]
