A shadow lich is somewhere between a shadow and a lich, combining traits of both. It has the Strength draining touch of a shadow instead of the standard lich, and it has its own special means of self-resurrection.[1]
The only known shadow lich is Umbran the Shadow Lich. He was created by an accident in researching shadows (specifically one created by the shadow virus) as a means to lichdom.[2]
