The sewer fiend is a 8 ft tall abomination of human-like intelligence, and its hulkig body is vaguely resembles humanoid shape save for a slug-like tail extending from its lower torso instead of legs. Its head has three eyes (one mounted upon a twisting eyestalk) and a heavily fanged maw. Wounds left by a sewer fiend inflict a disease likely to severely weaken or even kill an infected victim if the disease is not cure properly. Its origins may lie in efforts to create a hybrid bear/neo-otyugh.^[1] Note that the sewer fiends were never updated to 3.x Edition, so the creature types assigned below are speculative.
