A phantasmagorum (plural: phantasmagora) is the horrible spirit of a Rank 5 Sinkhole of Evil given a form of vile intelligence through repeated evil acts and murders of the unwary and the foolish. As the sinkhole of evil adds up deaths on its grounds, ts infamy may lure in more curious souls and would be heroes, to die at the hands of the site's occupants. As a malign manifestation of ethereal resonance, the spirit cannot harm anyone through direct physical violence, but it can implant mental suggestions, create illusions to manipulate and terrorize its victims, and interpose ethereal resonance onto the physical plane. A phantasmagorum gains knowledge of its victims through an ability to read minds. The site's evil nature may also drawn a variety of evil creatures.^[1]
