The Knights of the Thorn comprise the order of arcane spellcasters among the Knights of Takhisis. By subjecting themselves to the harsh training of the Order, Knights of the Thorn became capable of casting spells while armoured, delivering touch spells through melee attacks, innate powers of Divination and gained all the benefits of being a Diviner in addition to any specialty they already might have.
