The illithikonthoon^[1] (also known as thunder kraken is a horrible, gigantic naughtilus-like monstrosity and a creation of the illithids of Bluetspur. Originally created to serve as guardians and food collectors, the shackles of their controls were thrown off during the Grand Conjunction.

Illthikonthoon have impressive powers of flight and mastery over lightning. However, unlike the majority of the victims of illithid biomancy, thunder kraken are not psionic creatures. Note that the thunder krakenwere never updated to 3.x Edition, so the creature types assigned below are speculative.
