Chosen Ones are a type of monstrous humanoid native to Faerun and specifically Thay. They are former humans transformed into evil abominations by the Red Wizards of Thay using the Create Chosen One spell. Warped into horrific mockeries of their former selves, the pain and wrath of the chosen ones compel them to destroy anybody but their creators and their creators' allies. A chosen one attacks with its claws and poisonous bite.[1]

Chosen Ones can be encountered in the following domains: Hazlan[2] Hazlik has a number of them wandering about his sanctums, and he may call upon his chosen ones at any time therein.[3]
