The Calatori are a tribe of Vistani within the Kaldresh tasque. Before the Great Upheaval, they travelled through the central lands of The Core, including Markovia, Dorvinia, and particularly G'Henna. However, nearly all of the Calatori vanished shortly before the Great Upheaval, leaving behind only scattered giomorgos.^[1]

The Calatori had an unusual arrangement with the strigoi of the Maradici Family. The strigoi offered them protection through the brutal G'Hennan winters in exchange for blood voluntarily given. Perhaps because of this arrangement, the Calatori seem to have unexpected ties to G'Henna.^[1]
