Canon Information

Ant lions are the larval form of various damselfly-like insects. They prey upon ant and other small arthropods by digging steep-sided pits where they wait in ambush.[1] Ant lions can be found in the domain of Har'Akir[2][3].

The listings of Ant lion in the Har'Akir table in the 2nd edition Realm of Terror and Ravenloft Campaign Setting boxed sets[2][3] are probably intended to refer to giant ant lions.
