Borrowed Time is a silver pocket watch inlaid with gold filigree and the words of its name inscribed upon it. Borrowed Time is currently in the possession of the Weathermay-Foxgrove Twins. It was at one time owned by the the Arak and borrowed by Rudolph van Richten for a time, and then return back to the Shadow Fey. The Clockmaker in turn loaned it to the Weathermay-Foxgrove Twins as a sort of "inheritance". When asked when she would need it back, the Clockmaker only said that they would not return it to her, but instead a collector they had met in the past.[1]

Borrowed Time is apparently a magic item, although its full powers have not been revealed detailed. Laurie Weathermay-Foxgrove later used it when hunting the Telling Man to dispel a supernatural slowing effect he manifested[2] She later used it to create a temporal effect allowing her to prevent the escape of Salissar.[3]
