"Bloody Jack" is the alias for Sodo or his agent responsible for the killing sprees that afflicts Paridon every 13 years in fulfilment of the rites that evoke the power of the Fang of the Nosferatu to prolong its wielder's life and vitality. In 755 BC the alias denoted a doppelganger golem. In 742 BC it denoted Sir Edmund Bloodsworth.
