Black Thumb is a special ability and curse suffered by all those elves afflicted with the special Elven Vampire vampiric strain. It causes the elven vampire to wither and kill any plant the vampire touches. Fortunately, this curse is blocked by clothing, thus enabling the elven vampire to handle plants with gloves.[1][2][3]
Despite not being of the elven vampire strain, Jander Sunstar also has this curse.[4][5][6]
