Base Attack Bonus

The base attack bonus (or BAB) is a 3rd Edition game rule that determine's a character's global bonus to attack rolls before other factors (Ability Scores, etc.) are figured in. It applies to all attacks and is determined by class levels. BAB also determines bonus attacks and provides a qualification for many feats, prestige classes, and other character options.
