Audun Beck is the Captain of the Illsong and a member of the Kosti Tribe. He was killed and reanimated as a sea vampire while on a voyage. After the attack, he cursed the gods and and made a wish for his crew to survive. A cursed magic helmet he carried granted a tainted version of his wish, animating his crewmen as sea zombies and jolly rogers.[1]
Audun Beck began an mission of obsession to find a cure for his vampirism. When the priests of his homeland couldn't cure him, he massacred his entire village down to the last man, woman, and child. After that, he was drawn into the Land of Mists and has since sailed the Sea of Sorrows, making raids along the coastlines for the past two and a half centuries.[2]

Although the specifics of the age categories for sea vampires are unknown and Audun's age category is unlisted, his stats and listed time as a vampire indicate he is an Old Vampire given the usual vampire aging scheme.
