At the time of 720 BC[1], Arik was the bartender of the Blood o' the Vine Inn, as was his father before him (also named Erik). Apparently it is the local Barovia Village tradition for the Blood o' the Vine bartenders to pass along the Arik name from generation to generation.The then "current" Arik of 720 BC was one of the people murdered by Lord Soth when they threatened to attack Magda Kulchevich[2]
