Antonio Lofgren is the conductor, leader, and founder of Antonio Lofgren's Traveling Orchestra. He composed The Sea's Bargain, recounting a Liffen folktale of how the hero-merchant Orzech of Arme sold the corrupt sister-city of Ikos to the Sea, thus creating Hordum Bay.[1]
If the One's Life Measure dread possibility is in play, he has been using ALTO's music to drain away snippets of his audience's lifespan to prolong his own. He is slowly being corrupted by his practice of bardic magic combined with necromancy, but only one person has noticed. Andres Duvall, having fled Darkon while Death was in power, has witnessed Lofgren's use of this black magic and thinks Lofgren is seeking the means of transforming into a bardic lich. For his part, Lofgren has taken no notice of his magic's corruption. Meanwhile, Baron Evensong has taken an interest in ALTO'S activities and wishes to harness them for his own purposes.[2]
