Akriel Lukas

Akriel Lukas is a wolfwere and the daughter of Harkon Lukas. She was the former lover of Dr. Daclaud Heinfroth, and conspired with him against both her father and Duke Gundar[1] in a scheme that would later become known as the Gundarakite Conspiracy[2]. The plot ultimately failed, perhaps in part due to Harkon's meddling in Akriel's guise[3]. Her whereabouts since then are unknown, though her general betrayal of her father was allegorically memorialized by Luther Bedarik as part of the Soulless Crown[4].
Details of the Gundarakite Conspiracy
The central part of Akriel and Heinfroth's scheme was to use the Crown of Souls to cause widespread social unrest in Kartakass and Gundarak by creating an army of goblyns. With such an army, the pair planned to sew discord between Gundarak and Kartakass, ultimately provoking war. Under the fog of war, Akriel and Heinfroth would then dispatch both Gundar and Harkon. Akriel never intended to permanently slay her father- merely incapacitate him. Heinfroth had no such reserves and planned on killing both Akriel and her father and take control of Kartakass. The plan to overthrow Gundar was but a mere ruse for Akriel, for Gundar and Heinfroth had planned for the destruction of both Harkon and Akriel from the very beginning. For faithfully serving his lord, Heinfroth would have been granted rule over Kartakass. For her part, Akriel planned to betray Heinfroth- either enslaving or destroying him- to rule Kartakass alone. Of the conspirators, Akriel was the only one who knew of her father's immortality[5].
Aftermath
Whether Heinfroth or Akriel would have come out on top later became a moot point with the destruction of the Crown of Souls[6]. Although Akriel's fate is uncertain, Heinfroth came out of the event intact and later betrayed Gundar, resulting in the latter's destruction. For a time, Heinfroth became darklord of Gundarak before its dissolution and subsequently becoming the darklord of Dominia[7].
Other Information
Akriel maintains, or at least maintained, a residence in the Old Kartakan Inn and Taverna[8]. She also owns, or owned, a river boat[9]
