• Daglan Daegon creates the Crown of Souls for an unnamed, evil warlord. Immediately upon receiving the fell artifact, the warlord betrays Daglan and uses it to kill him. Daglan has prepared a contingency for this, placing his soul inside the Crown to possess whomever wears it. However, the warlord's strength of will renders him immune to Daglan's possession. The warlord uses his prize to invade his neighboring lands. Daglan’s soul remains trapped in the Crown.
