Burgomaster Ivan Wachter

Ivan Wachter was nobly born in Barovia. Since the time of Lord Victor Wachter, the head of Wachter family has loyally served Count Strahd von Zarovich as the boyar of the region in the vicinity of Krezk Pass. Lord Ivan instead serves as burgomaster of Krezk. It is unclear whether he holds both offices, holds but the one of the two offices, or holds one office that into which the prior two have been fused. He may or may not retain possession of the Wachter Estate. The Wachter family have enjoyed, and have prospered under, the protection of the Count of Barovia since 398 BC.
