Alvina was formerly the maid to the LaLaurie Family. However in 711 BC, she murdered Nanette LaLaurie and her two daughters Verette LaLaurie and Nadine LaLaurie by poisoning their cake. Baptiste LaLaurie, Nanette's husband and and the two girls' father, saw to it that she was executed before he committed suicide. In the Ghosts of Old Cypress dread possibility, she lingers on as a ghost with the Dream Walking power.[1] She may have gaslighted him into committing suicide as revenge.
