The Moonshadows are those inhabitants of Twinmoon Sanctuary who believe the sanctuary needs to have greater contact with the world outside its wards. They were founded by Lazdrelle Melator and her brother Volranduil after Lazdrelle's lover Bemarthalis was killed by an elven vampiress; clearly, they say, not all threats can be avoided by hiding behind the sanctuary's wards.[1]
