Despite being creatures of the Ethereal Plane[1], these aberrations tend to be rare in the Land of Mists. They can be encountered in Hazlan, where local legends speak of them as "ghost-eaters", creatures of the Gray Realm that will all too willing feast on the flesh of the living when the spirits of the dead are unavailable.[2]
