Dargen Blackborn (an assumed name, his true name is known only to the Rolyns Family) is the darklord of Agonia and current leader of the Cult of Marikoth. Dargen hopes to summon Marikoth not to please him but to destroy him, for his oaths to Marikoth led to the kidnapping of his son Haylon and the death of his wife Melissande Rolyns from heartbreak.[1]
Dargen Blackborn enacts the Summoning each year to call Marikoth into his domain. However, this is a doomed endeavor, as Marikoth is already held in his own domain, the Cairn.[2]
Dargen Blackborn murdered the previous cult leader Selune for trying to sacrifice Halyon.[3]
