Kalen was the sworn enemy of [[Dominic D'Honaire]]. This is questionably canon because [[Heroes of Light]] says Kalen lived 200 years ago, while Dementlieu has been in existence as a domain for less than 100 years (since 707 BC), according to all other sources, such as [[Ravenloft Third Edition]]. That places Kalen firmly in false history [[Category:False History]]. [[Gazetteer II]]'s history of [[Dominic D'Honaire]] has him leaving [[Mordent]] at age 7, thus creating [[Dementlieu]]. So while everything else about Kalen fits into the established false history of the domain, Dominic was born over a century after Kalen's death and therefore could not be his enemy. | |||

This is questionably canon because Heroes of Light says Kalen lived 200 years ago, while Dementlieu has been in existence as a domain for less than 100 years (since 707 BC), according to all other sources, such as Ravenloft Third Edition. That places Kalen firmly in false history . Gazetteer II's history of Dominic D'Honaire has him leaving Mordent at age 7, thus creating Dementlieu.
