A wealthy family of Souragne that is nonetheless marked as social pariahs because of their association infamous Ti-Maman and, through her, Nanea's Grandchildren.[1]
Rene LaRouche is the owner of the Le Coq Noir gambling house.[2] There, Archibald Van Schelm, patriarch of the Van Schelm Family, accrued a large debt through gambling. As a result, he had to give consent that his granddaughter, Iolanthe Van Schelm, would become married to Guy LaRouche.[1]
The LaRouche Family owns the White Magnolia Hill Plantation.[1]
