The Black Opal Guild is a secretive guild of necromancers and other arcane spellcasters capable of casting necromantic spells. The guild is led by a vampire wizard named the Black Opal. Beneath him, there is a 4 tier pyramid like structure of ranking. Although the greater overall agenda of the guild is unknown, its 25 or so members do seek to further the study of necromancy in all its forms.[1]
The Black Opal Guild has its own prestige class, the Black Opal Mage (BOM)
