The Somma Machine[1] is a horrible steam-powered contraption invented by Sir Edmond Continere (lord of the Isle of Desidia. This device handles the production of the somma drug as long as the seeds are dropped into it. Many a slave have fallen to their death in this machine thanks to its complete lack of safety features and the continual, exhausting work the slaves face.
