Brangain ApBlanc was the daughter of Tristen ApBlanc. She was secretly raised and trained as a a 4th level cleric of Diancecht by her mother, Isolt ApBlanc. Brangain attempted to use her clerical abilities to redeem the many ghosts haunting Castle Tristenoira, eventually coming across the ghost form of her father, Tristen ApBlanc. This resulted in Tristen imprisoning his only daughter in the dungeon below the castle[1], where due to intervention by adventurers she later escaped not only her imprisonment but her own time period and now lives in Ravenloft's modern day.[2]
