Ember was the warhorse for Dasmaria Eveningstar. Desmaria rode it on the mission to help Alexi destroy Ebonbane. Ember, along with Ferran Shadowborn, Pitch, and Midnight were the only creatures of Alexi Shadowborn's party to survive the attack on Ebonbane in Shadowborn Manor and walk away from it.^[1] Given how long ago the events of that novel occurred in Ravenloft's history, Ember is most likely deceased.
