Pauline Jenout is a Dementlieuse peasant girl whom is a highly trusted servant of the Living Brain. Personally, she hopes to use the Brain as a means to eradicate the oppressive and unjust government of Dementlieu. She bears a grudge against the regime for the death of her family when their tenement collapsed.[1]
