Alexandre du Circe is a Wax Golem, crafted by the real Alexandre du Circe in his image and some of his blood put into the wax. The wax golem came to life and imprisoned the real du Circe, taking over his work as proprietor of the House of Wax in Port-a-Lucine in Dementlieu.[1]

Unusually for a dread golem, the wax du Circe is an able dread crafter. He has been systematically creating other duplicates and replacing people in Port-a-Lucine, including Baron Descarte. Considering his kind above mankind, the wax du Circe desires not only company of his own kind but believes they are destined to replace humanity. Of course, the original people copied are not killed but rather imprisoned, as they regularly need to be energy drained by the wax duplicates in order to hold onto their memories and skills.[2]
