The Great Library of Alexandria was formerly a meeting place for the Defiance for over a hundred years and contained many esoteric tomes of elsewhere forgotten knowledge. Following the destruction of the Defiance by the traitor Cyril and an angry mob, the Great Library was put to the torch.[1] It is said some of the zealot scholars managed to salvage some of the books contained within and hid them in now what is the underground beneath modern Alexandria. However, most of them are likely to be tainted by the Red Death's influence.[2]
