A [[Barovian]] [[folktale]] about the [[folk hero]] named [[Pavel, Heir to the Sun]]. In the saga, Pavel must gain his [[inheritance]] by winning a piece of the [[sun]] through besting a number of of [[guardian]]s and tests. Such guardians include the [[Third Guardian of Darkness]], a [[loup-garou]], and the [[Fourth Guardian of Darkness]], a field filled with [[ghoul]]s. Pavel defeated the latter by tossing the blood-ridden [[pelt]] of the former into the field, causing the ghouls to turn on each other.
