Which is the best World Map?

I just tried searching Google Images for "Ravenloft World Map" and came up with tons of results... But since I'm so unbelievably rusty about Ravenloft you might as well just called me a complete n00b.
So, in this link, can you guys tell me which would be the best world map to use for my game?
Google's Results
If there's another, better map that's available I would be very happy to take a look at it. Knowing where things are in the world will obviously make my DMing more enjoyable for me as well as my players.
For instance, this Tuesday I am going to be running the adventure "Surgeon's Blade" from
Chilling Tales that I'm adapting for Pathfinder. I would really like to know how far apart Mordentshire and Neufurchtenburg are from each other since they're the two locales in which the adventure will be taking place. If there're only 2 or fewer days apart I won't prepare as many random encounters as I would if the two towns take are 2 weeks apart.
I appreciate all the help you can offer me!
Thanks a ton!

Maps in Ravenloft are notoriously not to be trusted. Things change and move between D&D editions, especialy as your DM see fit.
So I'd say choose a map you like and stick to it, or change it.
The last "official" maps are from the 3e-3.5e era. This might be helpful :

And this is taken from the FAQ, about map scale, to help you estimate distance:
Using this size on the inside cover maps in the Ravenloft Campaign Setting and the Ravenloft Player’s Handbook puts the scale at 20-25 miles per inch.
This is the near official scale, but many here have expanded it to make a much larger core continent, because it was better in their game.

My map is more old school (the shadow rift is not exposed to the surface and is more like the Underdark) and the scale is 1 square is 50 miles a side. If you want to use my maps and have clarifying questions, feel free.

I've been thinking about doing something similar if it comes up in my next game: stealing that old idea about placing the Shadowlands where the Rift is in canon and submerging the Rift beneath the Shadowlands, parts of Darkon and Tepest. Though with less of an "Underdark" and more of a "People of the Mounds" feel to the whole thing.

I've seen yours before too. I like it as well. It is nice to see a persons take on the Demiplane of Dread.

Jester's map is pretty awesome. Accurate and easy to read. I also highly recommend the Port-a-Lucine map in the archives. One of the most detailed city maps I've seen.

Is there a map without place names?
I like Ravenloft's maps but I've changed some of the domain names to less-punny names (mostly in the northwestern nations) and now all the existing named maps are no longer accurate for me.

Give me a days and I'm sure I could post a copy without place names.

File with the Domain and city names removed.

There's also one without borders and domain names already available in the Map Gallery.
Although, looking at this map, I am sorely tempted to go back in and purty up the mountains.

Check the illustrated maps of the core out. I've been using it actually since my players in the early 730's going to be fun when Daglan arrives!
