Pedro made a great work with the book´s diagramation and design. The images were created by Gabriel Jansen with Midjourney.
OK then congrats to those two :)

I also want to add that although I was never a fan of the Spelljammer campaign setting, this book makes me rethink my objections with the setting. I will definitely have a look of the 5th edition book in my local game store and even though I don't like VRGtRavenloft and haven't bought it 5e Spelljammer could be more lucky

I must admit that the spark for this project came when I was reading the monsters of Spelljammer 5e (the Space Clowns), but most of the fans of the setting are complaining that this new version of the setting is too shallow in content.

For those using the 3e D20 System I recommend the Dungeon #92 article "Spelljammer: Shadow of the Spider Moon"

A dark tome of 433 pages, The Weathermay´s Survival Guide to the Mists includes:

- Introduction. A chapter explaining the world of Ravenloft, basic premises of the campaign setting, its roots in gothic horror and its publication history.
- 4 New Races. This chapter contains new and forgotten races from other editions, such as the Calibans, the Shadow Fey, the Half Vistani and the Darklings, in a total of 4 races, 23 subraces and 1 variant.
- 13 New Subclasses. This chapter presents one subclass for each of the official D&D character classes, including the Voodan Artificer - a talisman maker, the Monk of the Order of the Guardians, among others.
- Hunting Tools. This chapter presents mundane and magical equipment for the characters to fight the forces of evil, containing an approach to firearms, in addition to presenting 8 new mundane items and 7 new magical items.
- Outcasts. This chapter presents an optional rule about the effects of social rejection of characters within the more insular cultures of Ravenloft, bringing the isolation and fear of the unknown present in gothic horror as narrative tools.
- Languages in the Lands of Mists. Aiming to reproduce the isolation of gothic horror, this chapter presents optional rules to avoid the use of the “common language” in the Lands of Mists and presents around 30 languages and dialects.
- Religions. In this chapter we present a complete list of all 22 known religions of the Lands of Mists, from the best known such as the Church of Ezra, and the Cult of the - Morninglord to others that are more obscure and unknown.
- Secret Societies. In this chapter we present 16 benign or neutral secret societies that will serve as patrons, allies or non-malignant antagonists for players, such as the Keepersof the Black Feather and the Van Richten Society.
- Legacies of Blood. In this chapter we present 27 new backgrounds inspired by the great families of the Lands of the Mists.
- Magic in Ravenloft. This chapter focuses on magic in Ravenlfot and discusses how its effects can be altered in the Demiplane of Dread, the power of curses, and even 10 new spells to use at your game.

Along with many Dread Possibilities.

The year is ending, but horror is perpetual.

A new Black Feather´s book is already avaliable.

Horrors of El-Koth is a Dread Space Adventure:

Portuguese Version:https://www.dmsguild.com/product/506848 ... ters=45469

In the depths of the Jun-Jitorak system, a derelict spelljammer ship drifts silently near a mysterious asteroid. Its name: Erebus. Its purpose: unknown. Its fate: shrouded in horror.

Horrors of El-Koth invites adventurers to explore the chilling remains of the Erebus, uncover its haunting secrets, and confront dangers that defy the imagination. What begins as a mission to recover lost treasures quickly spirals into a desperate fight for survival against horrors that twist both body and mind.

This adventure, crafted for 4th-level characters, combines elements of gothic horror and cosmic mystery. Drawing from the evocative themes of Ravenloft and Spelljammer, it delivers a unique experience where the beauty of the stars hides unimaginable terrors.

Ideal as a standalone one-shot or the starting point for a Dread Space campaign.
Features atmospheric horror, unsettling challenges, and innovative encounters designed to test the courage of any adventurer.
Perfect for fans of dark sci-fi and fantasy, inspired by works like Event Horizon and Dead Space.
Step aboard the Erebus and discover why some secrets are better left forgotten.

The adventure is also included in a bundle with the Dread Space sourcebook, with a very special price:

There is a lot more coming for 2025.

Horrors of El-Koth is a Dread Space Adventure:
I already bought mine, it looks horrible (in a good way :) ) nicely done! and the pictures put you in the mood and I like the insectoids.

Nightmarish...

I was never a Spelljamer fan but both Dread Space and HotEl-Koth are inspiring. Really puts you in the mood of an Alien, Event Horizon movie with a touch of Annihilation.

Although sound doesn't travel in the vacuum of space, here is something you can use as a soundtrack for the adventure, I was listening the record at home and thought it suits the atmosphere of the module.

Thank you very much!

I'm really glad you enjoyed the adventure.

This book had been in the works for some time, and should have been released months ago, followed by other Ravenloft projects, but unfortunately everything ended up being delayed due to scheduling problems and personal issues within the team.

But it's finally here, and I hope that soon our new projects to continue the RL timeline and also expand the Demiplane will finally be released.

This soundtrack is truly perfect. I have a soft spot for dark atmospheric music, and I'll definitely use it in my space horror adventures.

Any other amazing books for ravenloft like those of Black Feather that have quality and rejuvenate interest? Those published the past few years, like the past decade or something. There must be some notables from various authors.

I once found, and probably could again, an extensive rewrite of castle Ravenloft with a gender bent strahd that had like an entire chapter admonishing you for using female vampires as seductresses and sex kittens. It was cringe, but a good laugh once in a while.
