Okay, before I open CHAPTER NINE:
What is the party planning on doing as its next move?
Any sites it means to investigate?
Any persons?
Other actions?
Precautions?
Divinations?
Your responses will help me create the opening for the next chapter.

Re: RAVENLOFT: The One That Got Away OOC
Well, did we manage to read the script on the coins? Do we have any other leads? We kinda need Benn's knowledge for the pyramid and stuff. Or, perhaps someone that has been around since Richemulot showed up and has an intimate connection with it. Still, that's something I would avoid.
Raen would try to get the things to Benn in time for him to check and inform him about the quantities bought from Flammarion for a mercenary company. Perhaps Raen's and Benn's contacts could trace the magistrate?
Perhaps we should go and ask the Falkovnians directly. Not accuse them of anything, ask them what they know, if anything.

I... was hoping Benn would be interested to shoulder the cost and bring his knowledge to bear. Adam... will Benn take a look and use his contacts?

Nope.
Failure does not mean the task is impossible. But how much time and effort will be devoted to it?

More than we have probably. Unless Benn can read that stuff, I'll use read language. But ... if it's from the builders time, the divinations will just fail according to the rules. Is Raen aware of that?
Well, even if he is, he's gonna try it. Let's put that myth to the test*
*assuming Benn has no idea.

We can resume play with a new game-day.
Time for healing, spell memorization, and so on.
Any dice rolls for initial inquiries can cover the previous day's afternoon and evening efforts--but see IC for comp languages.
