Do you have a map of Crabclaw similar to Povero? Speaking of that... can we get one in game? even if it's a sketch out of scale, to know where is what?
also if possible, could you make an index or something in the reference? It has grown too big and I can't find what I look for (the names of the copper pieces \ PHB sp equivalent).
Bits, drabs, groats, tokens, demiobols, etc= small change like copper pieces of the PHB. Might be iron, lead, tin, a broken piece of larger coin, a locally accepted trade token, etc.
Follaro: a bronze coin equal in value to the silver piece of the PHB
Denier or silver pence : silver coins equal in value to the gold piece of the PHB
Florin or Ducat: a gold coin equal in value to two PHB platinum pieces or ten PHB g.p.
There are also double eagles, electrum talents, golden bezants, and many other coins.
In general, coin values have shifted up from PHB prices.
THE SILVER PENCE/. DENIER is the standard coin in the way the g.p. is the standard coin of the PHB monetary system and Prince lists.
If something in an example (and that is all those lists are) AD&D price list were rated as 2 gold pieces, it would probably cost two deniers/silver pence in this setting. Depending, of course, on availability and other factors.
That one follaro toll you each paid to obtain a three day pass to this more affluent part of town is about what a common, unskilled worker makes in a day of labor, back in Povero.
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.
